| Mitchell Foil knows the true meaning of outstanding customer service and quality products. Mitchell is a native of Winston-Salem and has been involved with the piano business since 1975. He got his start in his youth with Moxley Piano Company, which was located on 4th street in Winston-Salem. Mitchell attend Elon University and received his bachelor degree in music. After graduation Mitchell retuned back to the piano business as a career with Piano & Organ Supermart in Winston-Salem. In 1985 Mitchell relocated to Virginia Beach, VA to pursue his career in the piano business. While in Virginia Beach he was co-owner of Piano & Organ Warehouse for 18 years. In July of 2002 Mitchell returned back to Winston-Salem to open Mitchell’s Piano Gallery. Mitchell’s desire for excellence, customer service and the joy of serving musicians are deep motivations governing his business expertise. | | Mary Foil - Educational Director Mary Endsley Foil received a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from UNC Greensboro. For the past 20 years, Mary has enjoyed her career as a musical and stage director, a published lyricist, a vocalist, and as a private music instructor. Currently, she continues to perform extensively throughout the area, while also maintaining an active teaching studio of piano, voice, and guitar. Mary is married to Mitchell Foil, and has teenage twins, Andrew and Becca.

Larry Weisner - Manager Larry Weisner, a local native of Winston-Salem, has been involved with music nearly all of his life. Learning to play the piano at the age of 8 he formally studied piano under David Pinnix and voice under Anne Woodward of Greensboro College. In addition to the piano, he also plays the clarinet, banjo, guiter as well as the flute. Larry also served as Music Director of Southside Baptist Church and has played and sang professionally in the Triad Area. Larry loves working with people and strives to provide his clients with the utmost in professional service. We are very fortunate to have him on our team. |
 | Daphne Nichols - Teacher began her piano studies as part of a musical family in her hometown of Machiasport, Maine. At the age of 11, she performed with the Arcady Festival Orchestra on Maine Public Radio. She was the winner of the 2002 Ocy Downs Maine State Piano Prize and has performed on National Public Radio’s From The Top. Ms. Nichols has played in master classes for Nelita True, Stanislav Ioudenitch, Marian Hahn, Gabriel Chodos, Jane Coop, and William Grant Nabore. In 2005, Ms. Nichols graduated from the Walnut Hill School for the Arts, where she studied with Jonathan Bass in the New England Conservatory’s Preparatory Division. She attended Northwestern University’s School of Music and in 2009 completed her Bachelor of Music under the tutelage of Barbara Lister-Sink at Salem College. Ms. Nichols was the 2007 recipient of the Jean and Harvey Picker Senior Prize in the Maine Bay Chamber Concerts’ Young Stars Competition. In the same year, she won first prize at the Anne Gannett Scholarship Competition for undergraduate music majors in Maine. In 2009, she was one of two piano finalists for the North Carolina Symphony Concerto Competition.Ms. Nichols currently lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. |  | Susan Royall - Teacher Susan considers teaching piano such a pleasure. Seeing students make new accomplishments each week is a real joy. She began teaching private piano lessons in 1990. She studied piano for 10 years with Dr. Joan Winner of Piedmont Baptist College. She also studied under Linda Baity, Helen Church and Joel Boswell. She attended Piedmont Baptist College for music education and theory classes and holds a bachelor degree in music education from Ashwood University. | | Lachelle Howardl - Teacher Lachelle began learning the piano at age 5 with her mother instructing her. She then went on to study with Dr. Joan Winner for 8 years. During this period she developed a desire to teach others to play. This desire to teach influenced her to continue her education in piano. She holds a Bachelor degree in music form piedmont Baptist College. |
